1) Plan ahead
Being proactive is essential when traveling during the holiday season. It’s helpful to plan everything out in advance. This includes shipping any Christmas gifts, coordinating who will pick you up from the airport/train station or if you’ll rent a vehicle, determining where you will park at the airport/train station and other essential details. When you outline these things in advance on paper or in the notes app on your smartphone, it helps make your holiday travels easier and more straightforward.
This is essential. Travel can take a lot out of you. That’s why it’s important to stay well-fed and hydrated. Why not bring your favorite snacks to make the journey a little more special?
3) Leave early
The more time you can give yourself the better. Not only does it help ensure you will arrive on time, but it also helps you get the journey off to a good start.
4) Be kind
Kindness really goes a long way. Whether it’s a thoughtful smile or simply giving someone the benefit of the doubt, it all makes a difference in your life and the lives of those around you.
